The August Full Moon Float is one of our most popular events! 

The Full Sturgeon Moon, named for the time of year when "the sturgeon of the Great Lakes... were most readily caught" is always a blast. Since we don't have any Sturgeon to catch at Bull Shoals, we came up with a new way to celebrate this incredible fish!  Sturgeon are known for their distinct markings, so we bust out the Body Paint and get creative!  Glow in the dark and UV paints combined with bright colors and tribal designs make this night one to remember!

We paddle out to watch the sunset from the water and drift away as the moon rises.  Then, paddle over to K Dock Marina for LIVE MUSIC and treats, delivered right to you on your board.  You'll love this magical evening on the lake!

Rent a Stand Up Paddle Board from us for $30 for the full event. We'll provide an informative tutorial and all equipment needed for a safe and fun evening on the water. You can also BYOBoard or Kayak for $5 and we'll be there to help you get on the water and keep you entertained all night. All participants must bring a headlamp or LED light for safety. If you are providing your own equipment, we ask that you also bring a PFD.

The Ozarks Paddle League is a new way to connect with paddlers in the Midwest.  On the 2nd Saturday of every month, the OPL will host the Never Say Die points race at 38 Paddle Co on Bull Shoals Lake.  Serious paddlers can compete in a 5k paddle for awards and prizes or, if you're still learning or you're just looking to have a good time, join in the 1 mile Rec Race.    

Many of the area's competitive paddlers utilize the Never Say Die race to train for other races throughout the US.  You'll see lots of familiar faces and have a blast fighting to defend your honor!

38 Paddle Co and Ozarks Water Watch have teamed up to organize the Bull Shoals Lake Shoreline Cleanup. 

Grab a team of friends and meet us at the Highway K Campground at 9:00am to sign in and we'll point you in the right direction to pick up some trash. Bring your kayak, sup, canoe or boat down to the lake and we'll provide trash bags, gloves, snacks and water to help you be the best you can be! If you don't have a vessel, we'll find one for you or drop your group off on the bank to do some dirty work. 
After the cleanup, we'll pick you up or meet you back at the campground for lunch.

You'll also receive a Shoreline Cleanup t-shirt and probably some other fun souvenirs! So please go to the Ozarks Water Watch to register yourself or your team. *REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED*

Ozarks Water Watch has been organizing successful lakeshore
cleanups on Table Rock Lake for the past 18 years, and on Lake
Taneycomo for the past 8 years. These cleanups have resulted in
the removal of over 275 tons (19,500 bags) of trash, tons of dock
foam, metal, construction debris, old furniture, and much more.
They have also recycled over 4,600 tires from our beautiful shorelines. This year, with the help of 38 Paddle Co at K Dock Marina, they're organizing their inaugural Bull Shoals Lake Cleanup, which will be held August 4th, 2018!

We expect this community event to grow every year and this is
your opportunity to get involved in the first one and help make it
successful! We couldn’t possibly accomplish this without the help of partners, community sponsors and hundreds of volunteers every year!

Full Moon Float {Buck Moon}

The Buck Moon is coming and we are stoked! Join us Saturday, July 28th for a Full Moon Float on Bull Shoals Lake and enjoy an evening filled with SUP activities. The Buck Moon is named for the time of the year when bucks are active and their antlers are in full growth mode. To celebrate these young bucks, we pull out all of our SUP toys and get active too! Show off your skills with Battle Boards (our version of jousting), jumps, obstacles and games.
For those of you who enjoy a quieter evening on the water, feel free to float off into the sunset on a paddle board and paddle your cares away before we meet up at dark for live music at K Dock Marina.

Rent a Stand Up Paddle Board from us for $30 for the full event. We'll provide an informative tutorial and all equipment needed for a safe and fun evening on the water. This is it!  Our most popular Full Moon Float of the season!  You don't want to miss the strawberry sweetness of watching the Full Strawberry Moon rise over Bull Shoals Lake while listening to sultry summer music from your board and enjoying fresh strawberry treats!  We go all out for this event.  As always, there will be delicious strawberries and ice cream along with other potluck-style snacks and desserts.  Feel free to bring something strawberry to add to the mix.

Full Moon Float {Flower Moon}

The Flower Moon is coming and we can't wait!  Have you ever watched the sun set into the calm waters of a beautiful Ozarks lake?  Have you ever watched the moon rise into the sky from a kayak or paddle board?  At 38 Paddle Co. we offer this unforgettable experience once a month.  Each full moon was named by Native Americans to represent the changes in nature with the passing of the seasons.  The Full Flower Moon in May reminds us that flowers are in full bloom and we should take time to stop and smell the roses.  Come paddle with us in the moonlight on Sunday, May 27th.  Relax under the stars and listen to live music while floating on a kayak or SUP.  You can rent a SUP from us ans we'll supply you with all the necessary gear and training.  Or BYOBoard or kayak for $5.  Sign up today by clicking the BOOK NOW button!

All you need is you, a towel and a bottle of water.
